Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light to remove unwanted body hair by targeting and destroying hair follicles. While it is not always permanent, it can result in long-term hair reduction, with many people experiencing significant decreases in hair growth and thickness.
How it works ?
Targeting pigment: The laser is attracted to melanin, the pigment that gives hair its color.
Destroying follicles: The light energy is converted to heat, which travels down the hair shaft to the root. This heat damages the hair follicle, inhibiting or delaying future hair growth.
Multiple treatments needed: Because hair grows in cycles, not all hairs are in the active growth (anagen) phase at the same time. The laser is only effective on follicles in this active phase, so multiple sessions are required to treat all the hair in an area. Most people need 8–10 sessions, typically spaced four weeks apart, for best results.
